| Development |
Initially, a technical working group was established with the purpose of developing a strategy to successfully implement a cross-agency pilot operational data exchange using the NCR DEH Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Subsequent technical exchange meetings were held with the various agency partners to refine the business case, develop functional and technical requirements and draft project charter for the exchange. Follow-up meetings were conducted as required to refine sequence diagrams, map data elements from the various systems to NIEM version 1 beta 2 and develop an XML schema, method signatures and WSDL. Finally, the NCR DEH Project team developed the web service. Artifacts used in implementing and deploying this web service can be found below. |
